Old Coach House Garden

The property is an old coach house adjoining a large manor house, and the garden had formed part of the original kitchen garden for the manor. The brief for the garden was that it should be updated to reflect the clients’ tastes and the classically contemporary styling of the interior of the house. The brief was to make the terrace feel larger and to break up the garden to accentuate the width, not the length.  Finally, the clients requested an evening terrace where they could sit and enjoy the last of the sun.
