What kind of poppies are these?

Comment from Vicki

I have lots of both types in my garden, all self-seeded. I think the second one is a peony poppy but can't find a match online for the first.

I'd like to know how to get them to grow where I want (rather than in cracks in the paving stones!)

Please help - can you identify this plant?

Comment from Maureen

I have had this plant in a container for years and have lost the label. I think it is a shrub and flowers early in spring (April/May) with deep red/pink bell like flowers. The new leaf growth is red and the leaves are green edged with red (as hopefully you can see in the photos). Do you know what this could be? Thank you. PS It's the main plant (there is some campanula that has self seeded in the pot too).

Berry identification?

Question from Joanne Pike

Hello all
Can anyone tell me if they recognise this berry. A friend passed me the photo - the berries are ripe now (early July) and apparently it comes from a climber. I haven't seen the plant so unsure of the foilage unfortunately

What's this

Question from Clare

Can anyone please tell me what this plant is. I purchased it from a supermarket as it was looking very sad and undernourished and they didn't know what it was, as far as I know it's an indoor plant

Photo from Kim & Roger Taylor

Hi, Just starting out and rather depend on labels. These two, in my new garden, don't have any. Does anyone have any ideas as to what they are called?

Plant Name?

Comment from John W Norman

Dear Fellow Shootists,
I have been helping a friend sort out his back yard and I wondered if anyone might have an idea what this plant maybe?
The leaves are quite thick and the stems are rather like that of say thick ivy.

Photo from Ray

Can anyone tell me the name of this flower? It looks like a lily, but I'd like to know the exact name.
