Is it a weed?

Question from Michael Coates

I found 3 of these pretty little plants growing in a gravel path. No idea where they came from. Looks like its got a creeping habit and foliage isn't very dense. Any ideas what it is?

Question from Sam McKissock

This plant appeared in my garden a couple of years ago. It self seeds and has spread about 4m since arriving. It grows in semi shade, has tall dark stems, large leaves and deep purple hevilly scented flowers in summer. I can't track it down anywhere but must say it's doing a terrific job hiding my shed....

I can not Indentify this plant

General post from Michelle Lowe

Hello everyone,
I just joined Shoot and am very happy to of found this site.
I have a plant I am growing and not even sure where it came from. All I know is it is a beautiful vibrant blue/purple flower, with no scent and has leaves similar to the geranium family, flower reminds me of iris type and the seed pods looks like the aquilegia family.
Any help would be so appreciated as I have been searching for days. Maybe I am just not describing correctly.

I thank everyone who takes the time to help in advance.

Cheers
Mish

What is this leaf

Question from Patricia Jones

I found this little leaf growning in the crown of a Kniphofia that I recently bought. It has one stem an inch or so long with three little leaves grown up it. There is no scent; they look wrinkled, like a Primrose leaf.
Thank you
Patricia

Can anyone identify this shrub please

Question from Christopher Smith

Please see the attached photo. Shrub in question is the one in the garden pot (only about 18" tall there, but it did get to be about 4ft tall in the garden). Unfortunately it fell foul to last winter's appalling weather. It is evergreen, has light green, very slim leaves, and the flowers are like a thin "botttlebrush" head that is mixed colour on the length of a single head between a light blue/grey (maybe even a very very pale lilac) to white. (I use the term bottlebrush advisedly because I know generally that class of shrub have a bottlebrush approx 2" wide, wheras this one's flowers were only about a half inch wide, maybe 3" long).
