Hi Matthew,

We like this tree over here, they're a much smaller type of Eucalyptus, rarely growing more than 7 metres.

They have really attractive bark and aromatic leaves.

Can be frost tender when young, or during sustained periods of extreme cold.

Hope this helps,
Harry

Strengths of this variety of tree are: really lovely specimen (leaves & bark & form) & evergreen.
Weaknesses are that little will grow beneath one, because they are thirsty, shed bark when mature (bark & leaves may occasionally fall but will never decay like deciduous trees) and cast permanent shade.
Ask yourself, ' Do I have enough room to enjoy one ?' 'What do I want to get from a tree?'
Hope that gives you some food for thought!
