We have recently bought a house with a big empty garden, so we are buying an awful lot of plants and adding them to our wonderful Shoot garden notebook. There have been at least 4, bought from the local garden centre, that aren't on the Shoot website. I managed to ask for one to be added and very shortly it was added - thank you very much indeed, Shoot. But since then I haven't been able to find how to do it. So - how do you ask for a plant to be added to the Shoot website? I can't even find out how to ask such a general question as this one about using the website, so would appreciate replies about that, too

Here is a link to the request a plant section
http://www.shootgardening.co.uk/plant/suggest/add

Alternatively you can find it either in the plant section - just click on the tab that is headed PLANTS at the top of the page and find it under plant search section or via the help page link at the bottom of the page.

To post question in the various forums - go to the forum page of your choice there are many too choose from - and post your question under a suitable topic eg general, using this website or any other of your choice.

Hope this helps you.
Regards, Angie

Have only just found the time to try out your suggestion, Angie. Thank you very much for responding. It was very helpful and I can now do what I asked. There are so many cultivars these days that it is probably a waste of time and space to ask for them all to be added. If only growers and garden centres would always add the species and not just the variety (have I got those terms correct? Probably not!) Anyway, thanks for responding. Kathryn
