Anyone know what this shrub is? It was just under 1m high, maybe 1.2m wide. Small leaves, seemed to have red stems on newer growth. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Lucy's shrub is definitely a Cotoneaster, probably Cotoneaster simonsii, or a seedling of, they do seed very easily. Happy gardening, webgardencentre

Hi Lucy - here is Cotoneaster simonsii in Shoot. Also here are all the Cotoneaster . Hope that helps! Nicola
