This is a very unusual and beautiful variegated Japanese maple - Ukigomo translates as 'Floating Cloud' which aptly reflects the nearly all white leaves. Young leaves are pink tinged giving the impression of blossom whilst mature leaves are dotted with vivid green.
This is an Acer best kept in dappled shade to prevent leaf scorch and sheltered from winds. Needs a darkish backdrop or dark green leaves to show off its true glory.

Mine is planted in a container, beneath the semi shade of an Elder tree with Vinca major underplanted around it.
