Just thought I would draw attention to any of you who do not know, about the increasing 'pest' problem of invasive non-native plants - in many cases still being sold by garden centres and aquatic centres e.g. japanese knotweed, cotoneaster and many others

Hi Laura, Another thought too. We are adding 1,000s of plants to the Shoot database all the time. If you see one listed here which you think people should not plant, please post a forum comment on the plant record itself (click 'forum' tab and add a comment). This will draw people's attention to the fact when they are exploring the plant information directly.All the best Nicola
