Saw this climbing through a yew hedge a few years ago at Sudley Castle, would love to have one, but don't know what it is?

Hi, Karen,
This climber is Tropaeolum speciosum , common name Flame creeper or Flame nasturtium. It is a perennial and half-hardy so needs a sheltered, sunny or partially shaded site with its roots in shade. Beautiful flowers! If you are a subscriber, you can add it to your list of 'Plants I Want'.

Thanks Kathy. Only concern is that you say it is half-hardy, my garden is fairly exposed on the east side at present, as we had to have 25 or more Elm trees taken out... . Just need to find the perfect spot of the the climber.
