Does anyone know where I can obtain the above plant to add to my collection of 60+ phormiums?

Hi, Stuart,
You can buy it at:
www.asterbyplants.co.uk - based in Bedfordshire
www.springreachnursery.co.uk - based in Surrey
www.burncoose.co.uk - based in Cornwall
www.duchyofcornwallnursery.co.uk - based in Cornwall
All of the above suppliers have shops and do mail order. I would suggest buying from the one is closest to where you live so the climate it was grown in best matches where you live. If ever you are searching for another Phormium, hopefully there will be a 'Buy this Plant' link with it on Shoot. Otherwise, you can search the RHS plant finder at http://apps.rhs.org.uk/rhsplantfinder/index.asp to locate nurseries that grow the particular Phormium you want.
All the best and please let me know when you get one.

Hello Kathy C.
Thank you for the help. Unfortunately there is one slight problem; a few actually. The only one which might have it this year (subject to verification) is www.asterbyplants.co.uk. It is not listed with www.springreachnursery.co.uk, or www.duchyofcornwallnursery.co.uk. Burncoose is not stocking it this year, and I have yet to take the opportunity of enquiring if it will be stocked next year. In my collection of 60-odd phormiums, I have several which seemed to go out of favour with the nurseries as they are either too tender, or too slow to propagate, and p. 'Dazzler' seems to have gone down that road.
Thanks again for www.asterbyplants.co.uk, and as their website is copyrighted for 2010, it looks like it might be up to date.

Hi Stuart
Why not try Goscote Nurseries - they definitely have the plant listed, amongst many other phormiums
http://www.goscote.co.uk/palms.htm#p
BTW, I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret Jones, the lady in NZ who was responsible for all of the phormium hybrids; she had doves, and would regularly feed them with the bog standard Phormium tenax seeds - the seeds that didn't get eaten would spring to life as new plants, and one day she noticed an unusually coloured off shoot (sport) on one of them - that was the birth of 'Cream Delight'. She now has one named after her (P. 'Margaret Jones'), and I do hope that you have it in your collection!
Good luck with your search

Hi Auntie Planty,
There's good news, and bad news. Yes I have p. 'Margaret Jones' in my collection; it was bought purely for the name, for obvious reasons. The bad news is that Goscote Nurseries do not do mail order; I telephoned to try and was given a polite, but very firm 'No'.
Thankyou all for the effort; the search continues...............

(A codicil for all others wishing to advise about plants listed on the interweb: -
I have used several search engines, and have a comprehensive list of all companies selling (even 1 or 2) phormium varieties. I have even persuaded some wholesalers and shops to send by post even if they do not normally do this.
In my request, I was hoping to find some unlisted shop somewhere which I could contact and which would, as a digression from the norm, send me a plant.)

Thanks for all the previous advice. Due to the kindness of strangers, I now have this variety.
