On Sunday, 18th September, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust will be holding its annual Fayre for 2011.
Not only will visitors be able to see parts of the 136 acre trust farm where around 10,000 disadvantaged youngsters are given on the farm learning experiences but there are a host of additional interesting things to be seen.
Situated on the outskirts of Sheffield, the farm, has an excellent farm shop where it sells its vegetables, soft fruits, and even its own produced meats.
The farm has state of the art hydroponic systems for strawberry, cucumber, pepper, and tomato growing, 2.5 acres of "market garden" 7000 raspberry plants and 3,200 vines, (growing in probably the highest vineyard in the UK).
