I have just bought this small bush but is it male, female, does it need to be grown together with another Skimmia, if so what would you recommend. It need to be a smilar size.

HI, Margaret,
'Magic Marlot' is male. You don't need a female - you only want a male planted with a female if you want a female plant to set fruit.

I'm new to this site so thanx for responding Kathy I appreciate it. I've not had Skimmias before and the only thing I'd heard was that you're supposed to grow them in pairs, obviously I've a lot to learn. Thanx again Magz
