Weather

from Joanne 9919

It's absolutely pouring down here today. There hasn't been any let up since last night.
The Met Office have forcast a hot dry summer. Do think this is going to be the case? It's hard to imagine it with the rain we're having at the moment.

Brooklime

from Joanne 9919

It's a pretty plant Georgie.
My Mimulus is the same, it's spread so quickly. I think I'm going to have to keep it in check.

Greenhouse tomatoes

from Joanne 9919

I presume you are opening the doors of your greenhouse for ventilation. Insects will fly in and do the pollination for you, however, a little tap on the tomato plant will encourage pollination. You certainly don't need to use a paintbrush.
Hope this helps.

Watering

from Joanne 9919

Glad to hear that you had a good time Lorna.

It's good to know that the towel method worked for you. It's always handy to know these things.

Yes, everything seems to be growing really quickly now that spring is well and truly here. You will have seen a big difference in your plants in two weeks.

Standard Fuchsia

from Joanne 9919

Thanks for that info John.

The Fuchsia has now grown to about 3 foot and has been potted on twice.

Can you please give me some more info on the mini, quarter, half and full sizes?

Thanks,
Jo.
