About me
Now retired so have much more time - trying to improve lawn which has suffered two Border Collie puppies over the past few years. I was a carer by profession and also enjoy caring for sick/young plants or sometimes just keeping them alive!

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Revamping bottom of garden to include two existing apple and three plum trees; new wildlife pond, greenhouse, three compost heaps, coldframe, four new veg plots and decking with swing seat (faces west for sunset with G & T!) and loads of plants of course! We have also buried a 2800ltr tank for watering, it fills with nearly all rainwater from roof and patio. Water is now pumped from top to bottom of garden with endless supply - well 2800 ltrs!

Biggest gardening frustrations
Not knowing how to improve design of garden - I find designing difficult not knowing what would look good! Have put together a new bed mostly perennials and roses with an old apple tree - I expect some plants will clash or not like where I put them!

The gardening project I am currently working on
We have a new wildlife pond not yet complete with stones, plants etc but the wildlife is moving in already - even a grass snake eating my tadpoles!
