About me
I have a masters degree in botany, but am no longer working as a scientist. Instead I brought back to life a very neglected garden and use it to grow lots of different plants. I must not be left alone in a garden centre, at least not with money to spend. Kew Gardens is just up the road from us and we have a season ticket. And I am member of the RHS and go to Wisley once or twice per year. My other hobby are my rabbits, and I am a volunteer for the local animal rescue. And I love to travel. I am German, but moved to England 6 years ago. I have a boyfriend and two sons.

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
I turned a neglected garden back into a colourful place for the whole family, while keeping it wildlife friendly.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Squirrels!!!! Enough said.

The gardening project I am currently working on
I am replanting a small flowerbed right outside the living room. I bought some nice rocks and several different varieties of violas. I want to collect more violas, they are my favourite flowers.
