So excited - my garden is undergoing a transformation! Pergola has just gone in and now ready for planting. My choices include: Marshalls Eclipse (ethically sourced) range for paving which look very contemporary. Hillout fencing, shed and bench - great quality timber products!

About me
Hi - I am Nicola - Founder of this website. I started it as a way to help others with the same issues I was facing with gardening. I wanted simple, easy-to-use and proactive advice to help me to get the most from my garden.

Biggest gardening accomplishments
I transformed my garden in Queens Park. It became a great space for entertaining and for having a cold drink in at the end of a long day ... also I built this website for gardeners! I am proud of that too.

Biggest gardening frustrations
In the early days, I made many mistakes. I planted lavender in clay soil for example... and all of them died! This site helps you to avoid such disasters!

The gardening project I am currently working on
Now that birch trees are planted I am going to get started planting beautiful perennials!! So excited. This is when the real fun starts:)
