Gerard Rooney

About me
I have been interested in Gardening from a young age - working along side my late father back home in Ireland. About ten years ago I got my first garden - for the past four years we have been in our present garden on the outskirts of Brighton which we have developed from a plot of grass with a single pear tree - it continues to be work in progress.

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Developing our present garden.

Biggest gardening frustrations
My inabilty to get a good display from Clematis varieties that I have planted in my present garden over the past four years.

The gardening project I am currently working on
Revamp of two borders in our present garden - with the aim of having it ready for a garden open day in June 2011
