I love gardening! I started my own garden design business four years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it. Gardening is so good for the soul and my mission is to show as many people as I can the benefits of enjoying their garden. People are very good at maximising the space in their home and completely miss the potential of their garden space and in particular the benefits for children.

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Transforming my own garden which three years ago was a wildnerness, into something which I am proud of. We use our garden 365 days of the year ! Professionally there have been many challenges, probably the biggest accomplishments have been solving a clients problem garden set on a 45 degree slope and creating a school sensory garden to encourage children to learn about plants, wildlife and to use the garden in all aspects of learning. It is so important in this day and age of satellite television and computers to show children the benefits of being outside in the garden in the fresh air.
Biggest gardening frustrations
Not being able to fit more plants into my relatively small garden which is 18m x 12m - although I keep trying!
The gardening project I am currently working on
In my garden, mulching all the borders. Professionally, there are several projects at the moment, including the building of a duck pond!
