I used to live in Poole, Dorset and was inspired, or should I say spoiled, by Compton Acres - especially the Japanese garden. I now live in Kent and commute to London for work, so I don't have time to look after a garden, but I managed to get Graham and Howard Healey from Rhino Rock Gardens in East Peckham to build me a wonderful Japanaese garden, so I can relax and enjoy it in my spare time. I really just need to know enough to keep it looking good, but I also love the taste of home-grown veg, so am trying to get an allotment, and would need to learn how to make a success of that as well.
