About me
I have just stopped working and now have time to spend on the garden. We have about 3/4 of an acre in North Devon, most of which was, until recently a pony paddock. Constant mowing has brought the grass back to something acceptable, but we are now trying to make a combination of mixed borders and wildlife garden. I have always enjoyed gardening but never seemed to be able to find the time to devote to it in between working and raising three children.

Gardening expertise

Biggest gardening accomplishments
This year I have dug out two new large borders and for the first time ever I have grown perenials and a few shrubs from seed. They have all done far better than I ever imagined and I am just having to considering a plant sale!

Biggest gardening frustrations
Slugs, rabbits, dock leaves, nettles and brambles.

The gardening project I am currently working on
We have just had a new driveway built which comes in across the top of our old pony paddock. I have dug two large borders which I have planted out with my own homw grown perenials and some mixed shrubs. The rabbits love them!
