Variety or cultivar: 'Karmen' _ 'Karmen' is a multi-stemmed, deciduous tree with purple and white striped bark and arching branches bearing ovate, shallowly-lobed leaves that emerge brown in spring, turning bright green by summer. Pendent racemes of cream flowers in spring are followed by pink-brown fruit in autumn.
