Variety or cultivar: 'Pablo' _ 'Pablo' F1 is an herbaceous perennial with heart-shaped leaves, dense flowering spikes bearing small green flowers. It forms a sweetly edible, deep-red, round, smooth skinned, fleshy taproot with rich red internal coloration. Stands well without going woody.

Suggested uses: Add to salads, Beds and borders, Flavouring food and drinks
Cultivation: Grows best in alkaline, sandy soil in a sunny spot. Sandy soil is needed for long, prize winning roots. Dig bed over in autumn, add peat or well-rotted manure if humus content is low. Apply lime to acid soil. Apply fertilzer 2-3 weeks before sowing.
