Clematis Fond Memories

Question from Bert Clark

Hello to all, last year I planted a clematis 'fond memories'. It has taken well and produced a very beautiful show of flowers. The question I have is when do I prune, I have looked at many web sites some say prune as group 2 and some say prune as group 3. so I am not sure which is correct.
If there is anyone that has this plant and has been pruning successfully, I would be grateful for any advice.
