Cultivation: Plant in moist, free-draining, ideally alkaline soil in full sun or partial shade. To maximise nut production, grow as a bush. Keep soil clear in a 60cm radius around trunk. Growing at least two cultivars for pollination.

How close to a house could I plant a filbert or cob nut tree without it causing damage to the building?
