Variety or cultivar: 'Boskoop Ruby' _ 'Boskoop Ruby' is an upright, semi-evergreen to evergreen shrub with arching shoots, palmate, mid-green leaves and clusters of ruby-red flowers in late spring and early summer.
Cytisus 'Boskoop Ruby' is: Semi evergreen
Flower: Red in Spring; Red in Summer
Foliage: Mid-green in Summer; Mid-green in Autumn
Habit: Arching, Dense, Upright
Toxicity: All parts (including the seeds) may cause mild stomach upset if eaten.

Is this broom suitable for a container? I tried to grow it in one but it got frosted and I think it's dead.
