Genus: Eryngium

Species: E. × tripartitum - E. × tripartitum is an herbaceous perennial with a bushy habit. Its basal leaves are grey-green and it has erect, violet-blue branches. In summer and autumn it bears cone-like purple heads with dark-blue bracts.
