Variety or cultivar: 'Venusta' _ 'Venusta' is an erect, spreading, clump-forming perennial with palmately-lobed, toothed, irregularly cut, bright green leaves and, in early and midsummer, crowded, terminal clusters of fragrant, rose-pink flowers that fade to pink with age.

Filipendula rubra 'Venusta' (Meadowsweet 'Venusta') has been used in The HESCO Garden by Leeds City Council for Chelsea Flower Show 2009.
