Standard fuchsia

Question from Heather Davison

last summer I had a half standard fuchsia that flowered from may through to October. I put it into the greenhouse for the winter and brought it out a few weeks ago - but no sign of any growth. I also wonder if there is will it come from the ground rather than the old stems? If I have lost this plant I would love to replace it but I never knew the name of it. Any advice on the best one to choose? Heather
