Species: G. shallon - G. shallon is a large evergreen shrub with leathery, ovate, mid-green leaves tipped with a bristle tooth; reddish stems; racemes of nodding, bell-shaped, pinkish-white flowers in summer; followed by aromatic, dark purple, edible berries in autumn.
