Variety or cultivar: 'Deutschland' _ 'Deutschland' is a decidous, upright, spreading shrub from the hortensia group with sturdy, large, green foliage and large, firm, “mop head” domes of flowers that are usually dark pink (turning blue when on acid soil) in late spring and summer.

Flower: Magenta, Flushed pink, Dark-pink in Spring; Magenta, Flushed pink, Deep-pink in Summer; Flushed red in Autumn
