Variety or cultivar: 'Unique' _ 'Unique' is a mid-sized deciduous shrub with ovate, glossy, dark-green leaves. From late summer it bears massive, broadly conical panicles of large white flowers ageing to purplish-pink.

I live in zone 2a. Should this plant be cut back to ground level in late fall and covered with mulch?
