Variety or cultivar: 'Bluebird' _ 'Bluebird' is a small, deciduous shrub with ovate, mid-green leaves turning dark-red in autumn. In summer and autumn it bears flattened 'Lace-cap' flower-heads with blue flowers surrounded by large pale-pink florets (pale-blue in acid soils).
