Variety or cultivar: 'Hodginsii' _ 'Hodginsii' is a vigorous, mid-sized, conical, evergreen tree with purple young shoots. Its leaves are ovate, glossy, dark-green and normally unspined. In spring and summer it bears small, dull-white flowers.
