Species: L. douglasii - L. douglasii is and mound-forming annual grown for its ferny foliage and cheery yellow and white flowers that appear in summer and autumn.

The Fried Egg or Poached Egg plant will attract hoverflies to your garden to beat the aphids. The plant was collected by the Scottis explorer/botanist David Douglas (botanist), who worked on the west coast of America in the 1820s.
