Genus: Livistona

Species: L. chinensis - L. chinensis is a medium-sized palm with a large trunk, swollen at the base, and short, spiny leaf stalks bearing glossy, deep green leaves divided into linear segments. Panicles of cream flowers bloom in summer followed by spherical to oval, glossy blue-green to grey-pink fruit.
