Variety or cultivar: 'Zebrinus' _ 'Zebrinus' is a very tall, and striking clump-forming grass with dark-green and yellow stripes marking the leaves. The flowers are bronze-pink plumes, turning silvery white in autumn.

I have a Zebra grass which has been in the ground for nearly three years. There are a lot of white, dead looking parts to the grass and it no longer shows the distinctive stripes. Should I cut it back, cut off the dead parts and divide the plant?
