Narcissus oil

Comment from Nicola

This plant is used by Laurie Chetwood and Patrick Collins in their Perfume Garden for Chelsea Flower Show 2009. They say 'Narcissus oil, produced from the flowers, is one of the most popular fragrances. The flowers were used by the Romans to make perfume. Narcissus oil was also used in early Arab perfumes. Jonquil oil most strongly scented of narcissus oils.'
