Symptoms
There are a number of species. On Rhododendron this pest facilitates the spread of bud blast, so where this is a problem control may be needed. On roses, fine white mottling on upper leaf surfaces, and pests are ususally present on undersides of leaves. Can cause premature leaf drop.Spot them
Medium (3-10 mm) sap-feeding insects, which jump and fly briefly, resettling on leaves.Discuss Leafhoppers with other Shoot members.
