Symptoms

Irregular holes are eaten out of leaves of viburnum in May and June, and remaining tissue turns brown.

Spot them

Creamy larvae, with black marks, approx. 8mm (0.3in) long can be spotted in April to June. The adult beetles are grey-brown, approx. 4.5-6mm (0.2-0.25in) long and feed on the leaves from late July to September.
