Is it dead?

Question from Amie Walker

Can anyone help me? My Kojo no mai blossom (only 30cm high and in a natural planter with good drainage) seems dead, I have never had one of these before so don't really know what to expect from it or indeed what I should be doing to try and keep it alive. All of the blossom flowers have wilted and turned brown and the green buds have all but disappeared. What can I do to help it? It is in a sunny position and I am watering it every day. Is it too late? Please help :-)
