Re-planting

Question from Lou

I have a newly planted garden and have realised that this rose has been planted in the wrong position. I got it mixed up with the (Rose 'Veilchenblau') which I wanted to trail over an arch (thornless). Can I swop them now (both in bud) or do I have to wait till later in the season please?
