Species: S. tsuboiana - S. tsuboiana is a small, bamboo which develops a dense cluster of canes bearing dark green, long leaves. Compact and dense foliage makes it suitable for a hedge.

Suggested uses: Architectural, Hedging/Screens, Sub-Tropical, Containers, Roof terrace
Cultivation: Can be invasive. Plant in fertile, humus-rich, and moist but well-drained soil. Do not plant in dry soil in full sun. Bleaches in winter and does best in areas that get some afternoon shade.

My Sasa bamboo is in a pot in quite an exposed position (haven't built the fence yet!) and it has been very windy these past few days. I'm concerned that its leaves are curling. What does it need?
