The Circle of Life Garden

"The Circle of Life", a creation of Stefano Passerotti, gardener and Florentine landscaper, wants to be a tribute and a celebration of Spring as strength of Nature, which expands cyclically its regenerative power.

The Circle of Life Garden

Often the circle is used as a metaphor of man's life and for the changing seasons. The garden has a circular shape surrounded by a square field; is meant to be part of a broader park, to create a more intimate and personal island within a wider space. The wild flowers growing around the garden are the proof of a more natural environment outside.

The Circle of Life Garden

The circular walls are a flowered embankment, creating a colorful and natural buffer between wild nature and the center area. Are meant to be walked to enjoy the colors of Echinacea, Verbena, Salvia, Cricosmia, Emericallis.

The Circle of Life Garden

The center area is a very minimal and pure space, with a Quercus Suber on one side and a straight travertine floor ending into a water front with 3 fountains. These fountains breach to the outer space.

The garden is imagined to be peaceful and private nest, a soul healer, where people can be surrounded by nature and put their feet in the water to enjoy the colors and the peace within the center. The emptiness of the center balances the extremely colorful and rich surroundings, and leaves to the people the chance to concentrate in a positive environment.
