Question from
Hi, I have a couple of question about the star jasmine, hoping you can help:
1) The star jasmine I bought last year is in a large pot and is growing really well, however not flowering. How often should I feed it and what with to get it to flower? (it is about 3m high and has spread well). It flowered a lot last year. Also how often should I water it?
2) I have just bought another one of these and put it in a pot. It is a much smaller plant at the moment - about 1ft tall. What should I feed it, how often and how often should I water it this one?.
3) I was advised star jasmines are the only evergreen climber which will do well in pots and still look nice year on year. Do you agree with this or can you suggest other evergeen climbers which do well in pots year on year?
Thanks in advance!
Chrissie

Question from
Hi, I've recently bought a 2 mtr plant (June) in flower. I've planted it next to a post of a pagoda. Due the 'concrete' around this post I had to plant it 6 inches away from the actual post; the soil/roots are covered by gravel/loose stones - Are these plants OK with the roots all covered like this? The flowers have started to die off - will they return this summer?
Question from
I have just bought one of these for a container against a west facing wall and the ticket says that it is hardy outdoors. However I have just read on this site that it should be overwintered in colder areas. I live in the south of england. If this is to be overwintered then it is not the plant I need for the positon. Any help please?
