Question from
I have had a potted lemon tree for 18 months--putting it outside for the summer and keeping indoors all winter (I live in Montreal, Canada). Of late it has been loosing leaves a lot though it is still blooming and I am fertilizing the blooms by hand. Most advice says leaf drop is usually caused by over watering but that is not true in my case. What else can be wrong? Thanks, Paula

I have an Anthedesia Pink which is very happy in our bathroom.
The plant has got several flowers still on it but a lot of 'leggy ' leaf stalks.
Can I trim back these stalks to make the plant more compact?

This beautiful and unusual house plant has been sitting on my mother-in-law's kitchen windowsill for years. Can anyone help identify it. Photos taken in February with plant flowering. Seems robust as it has been given little care.

I've seen them looking gorgeous on Pinterest but am having difficulty tracking one down here in the UK.
The RHS website no longer has any suppliers listed either :(.
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.
Thanking you in anticipation.

My daughter wants a plant in her room. The room gets NO sunlight and I don't know much about plants. Can someone help me to find a plant that will be successful in growing in this type of situation? A plant that is small, easy to care for, and something she will like. A good starter plant.

This plant is now at least 11 years old and has flowered every year. It has a corm and has been potted on just once. Looks a bit like a succulent.
Could anyone identify this plant please?
