Hello, I believe that this is a miniature scabious (Pincushion flower). Dead-headed regularly it will flower all summer.

Looks like a type of scabious as Helen says. It could also possibly be a form of sea thrift (Armeria) - they're usually pink-flowered but I think there are some lilac varieties.
