I have purchased some dahlia bulbs which way up do Iplant them

Hi, Stephen,
Dahlia tubers should have noticeable 'eyes' - growth points on the tuber - they are somewhat pointy and on one side of the tuber. If you don't see any eyes, look for the bit of stem that was cut from the tuber before it was lifted. Please be mindful that dahlia tubers are susceptible to rot so water when planted, then again when you see shoots emerge. Don't plant them outdoors right now - it's too cold. If you want to plant them directly in the ground, wait until mid-spring at least - they like it warm.
