I was expecting to see this plant was shooting by now, am I a little early in expecting it to be showing through the soil by now, I am fairly heavy clay soil. Lysimachi Clethroides is up ok but no sign of Atropurpurea as yet.

Hi, Wilson,
How long have you had it? L. atropurpurea 'Beaujolais' is a biennial or short-lived perennial - could it be that it has completed its life cycle? The new shoots emerge a reddish-brown - any chance they are blending into the soil?

Hi there, thanks for your reply it was a new plant well three new plants last summer. ~Definitely no sign of any shoots at all. Not even been that cold this winter so am surprised that it has not returned.
