The flower bearing stems of my double narcissus plants seem not to be strong enough to carry the weight of the flowerheads and crease and fall over. what do I need to do to stop this happening?

They may just need a good drink of water. If they are in a pot they will dry out easily. If they are in the ground and it has rained hard recently provide them with some support, cut hazel or some or willows will hold them up until they have finished flowering, when you can then deadhead them (leave the leaves intact) This will help the bulb to recover for next year.
