I am wanting to take some banksia rose to india from uk i am not sure if they will grow there in the hot weather the reason asking is that I was bought up in australia where the banksia rose thrives in all conditions i am wondering if this variety here will do the same I am wanting to use it in conjunction with tropical passion fruit as a border on top of our surronding wall to give us privacy as well as give us the marvelous flowers they would be semi sheltered position but very hot areas in summer the watering system is drip irragation for 3 hrd daily thanks

I am from India, roses don't thrive in the southern part of India, they do well in Bangalore and northern India, but there is no harm in trying, it might surprise you, they do well in the SE united States.
